Private Nature Reserves

Each week we will offer one of the following excursions if available:

  1.  Excursion to world renowned Addo National Elephant Park.
  2.  Excursion to Horse riding and a visit to Penguin rehab.

Volunteers have an allocated facilitator and Land rover. We recommend 1 to 2 months but for those with time constraints we will accept 1 week stays. Accommodation is in the renovated Old Railway Station in Sandflats. It is comfortable with swimming pool, DSTV, Internet facility and an outdoor “braai” area.

Laundry service is offered and the rooms are serviced daily.
The festive pub, next door, is a popular gathering place for locals and volunteers.
Food is supplied however meals are prepared by the volunteers at the Old Railway Station in Sandflats.

Weekends are free for Volunteers to explore the area or to relax at the Old Railway Station in Sandflats.
